#whatsyourmovetoday

#whatsyourmovetoday is a hashtag and social movement I created to inspire everyone and anyone to make positive moves in their lives. It means to create small and meaningful changes starting today. It's a blessing every single day to wake up and to have a chance to make better and wiser life choices. It means to be grateful for today by taking care of your mind, body, and soul. With this practice, not only are you making a positive impact on your life but better yet, your loved ones around you. It's a reminder that tomorrow is not promised, but if you are alive today, you have a choice!
Please tag me and use this hashtag to spread awareness.
Thank you :)

What inspires me?
When I was deciding on my career change, I was going through a lot of personal challenges that led to my spiritual awakening and self-discovery. I had burnout from purposely overworking myself as a nurse to feel valuable and to please others. Back then, doing more meant better. Until I had a meltdown after 10 years and realized that I wasn't living my life authentically and abundantly. I realized that I wanted to follow my passion in health, fitness, and overall wellness to improve my own life, aim for longevity, and help my own loved ones and others. However, it doesn't stop there. My life mission became bigger and deeper when I became a mother in 2021 and my father passed away in 2022 from cancer. Being a mother gave me perspective and really made me think about what's most important to me. Life became even more precious.
In spite of dad's terminal illness, my dad told me that he was grateful for his 70 years of life. During his chemotherapy, he continued to work by choice until he physically couldn't anymore. He wanted to live as normally as he could. My dad's journey and struggles inspired me the most to follow what my heart calls for. He told me to do what makes me happy days before he passed. Though I appreciated and enjoyed nursing, I believed that I became a nurse...to be my family's best nurse and caregiver and most importantly, to prepare me to become my dad's nurse. Thank you Mom and Lola Puring for putting me into nursing school. It taught me the most significant and hardest life lessons. Thank you Dad for fighting cancer until your very last breathe. His love and resilience will continue to inspire me and empower me to have a better quality of life.
Now here I am and ready to share all the tools that I learned in my own journey. My ultimate goal is to help others live a more meaningful, healthier, happier, and longer life. I am always a work in progress but I can proudly say that I am self-healer and overcame depression, anxiety, burnout, binge-eating, sugar addiction, disturbed self-image, low self-esteem, people-pleasing, perfectionism, and negative habits. Of course, I did not do it alone. I am forever grateful for all the love, support, and guidance from my family, friends, mentors, therapists, colleagues, clients, and every single person that contributed to my healing and growth. THANK YOU SO MUCH.
The journey will never end...the obstacles will not stop coming...and it's okay because I am here for it and I am here for you!
